Alternative to Advance Checks
 

SOAS has encountered a few challenges that student organizations have when dealing with an advance check, and we are trying to get the word out on a few of the alternatives.  Two of the simplest methods to pay for goods are purchase orders (POs) and invoices.  We have developed an easy to use PO system that many vendors accept.  If you have any questions on how a PO works, please contact our office and we will be happy to help.  Another easy way to pay for goods ahead of time is if you can obtain an invoice from the vendor showing the breakdown of what has been ordered, and how much it comes to.  We can use this to generate a check for that vendor.
